But old enough to know that, you can lead a dog to water...But you cant make it drink

I tried several times to get Sadie to drink water from the tap, with no luck. She couldn't stir up enough courage to get near the running water, even though Ellie was all into it. Here you can see she found an alternative, much later in the day. That is a lovely bird bath on the grounds of a castle in Manitou Springs.

Sadie is a great dog, the best girl dog I ever had.

Today is the Reunion for Mary Mom's class, so we will be getting ready for that, and attending, but I will get to the pictures ASAP, and get them posted to my blog.

And yes, Sadie has her comfort zone.

Joyce, did you notice that every picture with me in it, Sadie was there too?

That's because you are best buds. You can tell you really do love your doggy. That is fun to see.

MER, don't we all...have our comfort zones? What's new with you and your Fam? When do your boys go back to school? Mine are going back on the 18th. I know I will be sad. I love having my kids at home.

DAD, Sounds great. I can't wait to see them. As it is I don't print out many pictures, so they are hardly ever in hand. What a sweet wife you have for thinking about me. By the way... just so you know it was my idea to stay home, the day you went to see Paulie. I don't remember exactly why, but I do remember Mary Mom asking me if Tracy wanted me to stay and I didn't get a chance to respond. So the answer was, that he was very supportive of me going and it was my decision to stay home. I know it had something to do with letting Paulie have his special time with you, and the burden of three more people being at Paulie's.

Paulie and Janna are settling in well. They moved in on Monday. Janna's Mom came up with her sister and her daughter today. The carpets got cleaned by Brent and Storm, this morning. And Today was Janna's 35th birthday. They went out to Red Lobster to celebrate. While they were gone, we snook over and left a flowery surprise at there house. She loved that.

Mer, Glad to hear back from you. A job...? What's that? I hope you get some time to yourself before you have to go and get one of those job thingies. You deserve it, you know? Read my last comment to my dad and find out what's going on out here. It's all GOOD! HUGS

"Hello mother, hello father, here we are in camp Granada" was a song, but it is what I feel like living here on the farm.

I didn't buy this farm to be a playground for irresponsible disrespectful grandchildren. I didn't buy this farm to be a junk yard for irresponsible disrespectful adult children and grandchildren. I didn't buy our house to be a pig sty for irresponsible disrespectful leaches, pigs and slobs, but this is what the farm and house has turned out to be.

Love you my Joyce Katy, Dad

I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of thing, when you should be enjoying being empty-nesters and proud grandparents. Hard week huh? I'll pray for you. I Miss you ;) and still love YoU!

Joyce, I've been working jobs since we moved here for Jim to school. Right now, I care for a baby, almost three months old and then two nights a week, I clean a therapy clinic. So basically, the nights Jim isn't at school, I'm cleaning. Yep, two jobs on top of keeping the kids busy and my house in order! So I actually am looking forward to being able to have just one job next school year where I can work while the kids are in school. Hopefully when Jim is done with school (hahahaha) and we get loans paid off, I can take a small break. Everyone has their own kind of busy-ness don't we? I sure do miss seeing you. I'm so glad things are good for you there. Love ya!

You need to post a picture of your new house. The address would be nice too.

Seeing how well you, Amber and Paul are doing makes me feel real good about you all, and then we come back here. I can't help it some times, it just gets to me how opposite, and disrespectful of other peoples' space and things, these people are.

Last one to know, Hannah is not going to school today. Just ask us to take her to the hospital after we drop Mary Mom off in Santa Rosa. She fell hard on her elbow yesterday, and they think she might have cracked the bone.

They came and got us while I was writing this note to you.

After dropping Mary Mom off, on the way back to Sebastopol, to take Hannah to Palm Drive Hospital, a bigger truck side swipped our truck and took out our miorror on the right side, and just kept going. It's going to cost $1707 to fix our truck.

Poochie ;) 99 I just made a rhyme, how cute am I?

My Honey was sideswiped while driving the Taurus. Is your truck's bobo fixed? That is a lot of $ for a mirror. I'm sorry it had to happen to your new beautiful truck instead of the old one.

By the way, I don't know if I've told you, but we wound up trading the Taurus in to buy another truck. The Taurus broke down and we had no choice. He needed to be able to get back and forth through the canyon and future snow. Tracy has always wanted one just like it too. He is too cute driving around in his toy.

I'm just going to have to do it...
