So just to fit in a Kitten will put up with anything

Here we are the day we brought the kitten home, talking over what we should name her. Notice how KiKi keeps whacking her in the face? Princess KiKi is noticeably put out with the whole kitten thing. Well, this was the one and only time that the cat has let the kitten even remotely close to her without hissing or hitting at her. The kitten keeps stalking her and she keeps putting her in her place. By the way... we went generic on the kitten's name, it's K.C. just in case she turns out to be a he ;) It stands for Kitty Cat.

But old enough to know that, you can lead a dog to water...But you cant make it drink

I tried several times to get Sadie to drink water from the tap, with no luck. She couldn't stir up enough courage to get near the running water, even though Ellie was all into it. Here you can see she found an alternative, much later in the day. That is a lovely bird bath on the grounds of a castle in Manitou Springs.

But I know where to get a new brain if I ever loose mine

We took this picture while on the tour of the science department at the Academy. Can you see the human brain in the jar on the third shelf up? Who gave that one up?

But I've seen a talking horse!

This is Zowe doing her Howdy-Doody impression. Tell me what you think she might have said. Be creative and I'll judge them. The winner will get... a hand made card sent from me, to you, with LOVE. I'll give you a week, so get typing.

Yet "BEE-HIVING" Like I Do

Isn't this Awesome? Uncle Jack actually offered this to me. It is about a foot and a half or more tall, made by black hornets, and has been preserved from the elements for the past six years by Jack in his shed. I can't wait until we can go back to safely bring it home. I plan on restoring the leaves and putting it up in my house. What a treat!

But always loveing being with my young

This was taken on Monday March 17, 2008 on this day the kids did get a snow day for school, but there was only about two to three inches, that day. Not enough to play in. So we played indoors instead. This is our beautiful temple we built after playing Jenga ( I think that's how it's spelled).

yet going to play whenever I want to

I said I would post what we did when I picked my kids up early from school last Friday, well here's our adventure. We spent a bit of time building our snowman and then we went in the field behind our house for some more fun in the snow. Now this is winter living (just days before the first day of spring) LOL.
