But I know where to get a new brain if I ever loose mine

We took this picture while on the tour of the science department at the Academy. Can you see the human brain in the jar on the third shelf up? Who gave that one up?

I was here today, but I have not lost my brain, maybe my mind has gone a little bit with the old age.

Yesterday we took 2 of our grandkids and 4 of their friends, and dropped them off at a concert in Milpitas down near San Jose at noon. Then we went up to San Francisco to spend the afternoon before picking up the kids at 6:30. On the way back down to pick up the kids, I got a speeding ticket, first one in over 10 or 15 years.
By the way, neat picture.

Doesn't look like that brain in the jar would fit in any of the skulls on the bottom shelf?

DAD,
I'm glad you've still got that ol brain of yours. You are right, it doesn't seem to fit any of the sculls on the bottom shelf.
A speeding ticket? Who my DADDY? You stopped speeding a while ago, how did you ever get a ticket? I know it must have something to do with the new wheels;)
I am going to be working in my garden all this week. My honey helped me a bit yesterday, yes, I know it was Sunday, we did it after church;)The weather here is typical, cloudy one day and hot the next couple of days, so we try to take advantage of the cool days as often as we can. Sunday was one of those cool days.
I have some things to do so I had better go now. I LOVE YOU DAD.

I think I only got a ticket because I was driving a bright red vehicle. There were other vehicles going faster than we were. I was just keeping pace with the vehicle in front of me.

Good luck with your gardening.

Ok, yuck. I remember when Dan was in school at the University of Utah. He was a teacher's aide or something like that for the human anatomy professor. One night he took me down to the lab to see body parts. I had had enough when he brought out the tray full of hands.

No worries Dad, everything is plastic on the shelf above the brain. That's a sweet lil baby, oh and a uterus.

Lisa,I can see your disgust with an experience like that. I don't have anything like that to haunt "my" BRAIN, but I'm sure the brain in the jar could tell a few stories if it could talk.

DAD, I did some work in the front yard, but I am too late to plant summer crops this year other than the couple of plants I now have. I have some bell peppers, jalapeƱos, strawberries, and a few tomato plants in my garden now. My kids and I have shoveled a bit of rock that we got for free and are making the front yard our main focus so far this summer. We need some curb appeal for this ol place.

I have to be in bed by 11PM, midnight at the latest, if I want to get up intime for Sunday bible class and church. We don't have an alarm clock set. Mary Mom wakes up between 5 & 6 every morning, and I wake up between 6 & 8 depending on when I get to sleep. Once and awile I wake up around 5:30.

Some times I wish I had an internal clock like hers. The only thing that makes me grateful for not having that clock, is that my whole family is on my schedule, everyone except for Tracy, because of the alarm that has to be set to wake him for work. It would be lonely being the only person awake, especially that early in the morning.Oh and lets not forget the many night time things you would miss out on if you had to go to bed early.

Lisa, I like your new picture. You must have been a cute baby, that smiled with your whole face like my kids did. You are beautiful, my friend.

Well, I made it today. Sorry about yesterday. I use a satalite connection to get on the internet down here in the barn, and its been having trouble the last few days with their network. It was real bad yesterday, and I finnaly gave up trying to get on the Internet yesterday, after a couple of hours.

Still having troubles with the network connection to the Internet. I don't know if it is my terminal or the operation center at the Hughes Network, with the problem, or the satalite dish.

This new truck of ours even has an 'idiot' light on the dash that tells you when you have a tire with low air pressure. I haven't figured out how to get the spair tire out of this new fangled truck yet. When I aired up the tires lest week I noticed a screw in the tire with the lowest air pressure. I didn't take it out, because I didn't want to take a chance on the tire going completely flat. I have an apointment at 1:30 today at a tire shop to have it checked out. Am I getting lazy in my old age?

zzzlove you, Dad
