These are the Canadian Geese that come through during their migration. They can be seen flying in large clusters in there V patterns honking away. These shots were taken in the runoff canal right next door to the Goodwill store, just last week. I had to climb down an embankment to get this shot, I was about ten feet away when I took it. They seemed fine with my admirations. I gave them a bit of caution as I left, "look out for the hunters and fly high".

We see them here too, but the only ones we see on the ground are the ones that live here all year round, as peoples' pets.

You must have a great camera.

By the way, would that be a wild goose chase?

My camera is not too shabby for a cheap one. Of course I didn't have to do much chasing, they just kind of looked over at me as if they knew I meant them no harm. Besides the certain lack of camo might have tipped them off. I'm sure I did give the Goodwill guys a good laugh while I was trying to be tactful going down the embankment.Ha Ha Ha !
Thinking of you, love, Dad
In the country some people use geese for watch dogs. The dogs come in the house, and the geese stay outside and chase off strangers, and other critters.

How old are you going to be? I'm not good with numbers and dates. I'm going to be 35. WoW! that's your baby girl, trying to grow up.
By the way... I thought you might want to know that we just found out, along with having high blood pressure, my Honey has been diagnosed with having type 2 diabetes. We are relieved to have our assumptions verified so he can get this under control.
I will share Storm's science fair project next week, okay?
Tried to say hi and leave a comment yesterday, but it never got saved. Love, Dad
